๐Ÿ’ณ Subscriptions and clan slots

A subscription belongs to a person, not to a clan. What that means for clan slots, plans, trials, changing plan and cancelling.

My Dashboard & Account 10 min read Reference Updated 23 Aug 2026

A subscription belongs to a person, never to a clan. It sits on one portal account โ€” the account of whoever started it โ€” and the clans that go into its clan slots are the clans that person owns. That has one consequence worth reading twice: a clan admin who is not the owner cannot change the plan, cannot add or remove a clan, and cannot open the invoices. Everything below is written for the owner.

The page is at MY โ†’ Clans & Subscriptions. The menu calls it that, the page itself is headed ๐Ÿ’ณ My Subscription, and it is the same place.

and nobody else

Who owns what

Three separate things get mixed up constantly, so it is worth naming them:

Only clans you own can occupy your clan slots. A clan you merely administer for someone else can never be added to your subscription, no matter which plan you buy โ€” it already belongs on its owner's.

๐Ÿ’ก
Good to know
Your invoices show a clan name. That is a label so you can tell one invoice from another โ€” it does not mean the clan is being billed. The bill is yours.

Handing a clan over โ€” Clan Management โ†’ Clan Settings โ†’ Transfer Ownership โ€” takes the clan out of your subscription as part of the same action. Your slot is freed either way, and the clan lands on the new owner's subscription if they have a running one with room.

โš ๏ธ
Your slot is freed โ€” but check the clan landed somewhere

Transferring always releases your clan slot, so the slot is free for another clan. Your subscription itself is untouched and keeps billing the same amount โ€” a plan is a flat price for a number of slots, so emptying one does not lower the bill. If you no longer need the slot, switch to a smaller plan or cancel.

Where the clan goes next depends on the person receiving it. If their subscription has a free clan slot, the clan moves straight into it and everything carries on. If they have no running subscription, or theirs is already full, the clan ends up on no subscription at all โ€” collecting stops until they put it on a plan. The portal tells you which of the three happened the moment you confirm the transfer, so read that message before you close the page.

Plans, and what actually differs

โฌ† Change Plan in the hero opens the chooser. A Monthly / Yearly toggle sits at the top, and every card carries its price plus the three figures a plan is really chosen on: Clan slots, Scan frequency and Chests / clan / mo.

PlanClan slotsWhat else moves with it
Starter1The baseline: one clan, the widest gap between scans, the smallest monthly chest allowance.
Pro2A second clan slot, scans closer together, a larger chest allowance.
Premium3A third slot, noticeably shorter gaps between scans, and the export features listed under Included Features.
Platinum5Five slots, the shortest scan interval offered, no monthly chest ceiling, and API access on top of the exports.

Each plan exists as a monthly and a yearly version with the same limits. Read the price off the card in the chooser: that is the figure you would actually be charged.

A plan with fewer slots than the number of clans you currently hold is tagged Too few clan slots for your clans and cannot be selected. Free up a slot first.

Clan slots, and how to fill one

A clan slot is one place on your subscription for one clan. Your plan sets how many you get, and the page reads it back in three places: the Clans tile at the top, the Clan slots row in ๐Ÿ“‹ Plan Details, and the header of the ๐Ÿฐ My Clans card.

The only way to fill a slot is to add a clan, and the clan is read out of the game rather than typed in.

1
Open the card MY โ†’ Clans & Subscriptions โ†’ My Clans

The Add New Clan card appears at the end of the row while a slot is free.

2
Sign in to the game

Use the game account of the player that should collect this clan's chests. It runs live while you watch. If the game asks for a security code, it goes to the inbox of that game account โ€” not to your portal email.

3
Pick the player

The clan you get is whatever the game says that player's clan is. Name, tag and kingdom all come from the game, which is exactly why there is no form to type them into.

4
Confirm

Add this clan creates the clan, takes the slot and starts the chest grabber in one go. Leave the panel open until it finishes.

โš ๏ธ
Easy to get wrong
There is no picker for a clan that already exists in the portal. If a clan of yours is registered on another portal account, this flow refuses it โ€” a clan can only be managed from one account at a time. Moving an existing clan onto your subscription is something support has to do; ask us and we will sort it out.

With every slot taken, that card changes: it tells you all your slots are used, offers Upgrade your plan to add more clans, and opens the plan chooser instead of the sign-in.

Emptying a slot

What happenedThe clanThe slot
You delete the clanPermanently deleted, with all its data, for every member of it.Free once the deletion actually runs โ€” see the timing choice below. Your subscription is not cancelled โ€” it keeps billing.
The subscription endsUntouched. Clan, members, chests and history all stay exactly where they are.Released, and chest collecting stops.
๐Ÿšซ
Cannot be undone
๐Ÿ—‘ Delete on a clan card is not "remove this clan from my plan". It destroys the clan and everything in it. Only the clan's owner is offered the button, and it asks you to type DELETE, tick what you are agreeing to and enter a code we email you.

The confirmation also asks When should this happen?, and the answer decides when the slot comes free:

Trials

A trial is a real subscription in a starting state. The status pill reads โ— Trial, you get one clan slot, and the Next renewal row and the Renews date on the status tile both show the day the trial ends.

โš ๏ธ
Easy to get wrong
Nothing lands in your inbox to warn you that a trial is running out. The date on this page is the warning. Put it in your calendar, and pick a plan from โฌ† Change Plan before it arrives if you want collecting to carry on without a gap.

After the end date there is a short grace window in which everything still runs. When that closes, chest collecting stops and the clan slot is released โ€” but the clan and everything already collected stay put, and picking a plan later starts it all again.

Changing plan

Moving up and moving down are not the same operation at all.

Bigger planSmaller plan
When it takes effectWhen the invoice for it is paid.At your next billing date.
What you pay nowMore than the difference โ€” read the invoice before paying. It bills the rest of this period on the new plan, credits what you already paid for those same days, and adds the next full period on the new plan. That last line is always there; it is only offset if you had already paid for that next period in advance.Nothing. Nothing is refunded either.
MeanwhileStatus reads โ— Payment pending and you keep exactly what you paid for โ€” same slots, same scan interval. You keep your current plan, and an amber banner shows the date you move.
Changing your mindWalk away from the checkout. An unpaid change is rolled back by itself within a day or two.Cancel change in the banner, free, until the next period has been invoiced on the new plan.

If your existing payment already covers the change there is nothing to pay and it applies immediately โ€” the message says Already covered by your previous payment โ€” no extra charge. And if you left it too late to call off a scheduled downgrade, you get Too late to cancel; contact support and we will fix it by hand.

Auto-renewal and cancelling are different switches

๐Ÿ”„ Auto-renewal is ON in ๐Ÿ“‹ Plan Details controls one thing only: whether your saved card is charged for you when an invoice comes round. Turning it off cancels nothing and does not stop invoices being issued โ€” it just means you pay each one by hand.

Cancelling is the โš ๏ธ Danger Zone at the bottom of the right-hand column. The Cancel subscription button inside it appears while your subscription is Active on a paid plan. On anything else โ€” a different status, or a plan with no price on it โ€” the same place offers Delete accountโ€ฆ instead, which is a different thing entirely and does not belong in a billing decision. Confirming sets the status to Cancelled and changes nothing else: your plan, your clans and your chest grabbers keep running to the end of the period you have already paid for, and collecting stops then.

The panel is also tied to clan ownership, so it can be missing altogether โ€” while a deletion is already pending, or when the clans sitting in your slots are not owned by your account. If you want to cancel and cannot find it, contact support and we will do it for you.

You can start again from the same page whenever you like. While the paid period is still running out, the way back is โฌ† Change Plan in the hero โ€” there is no separate button for it yet. Once the subscription has genuinely ended, ๐Ÿ“‹ Plan Details reads โš ๏ธ This subscription has ended and offers Reactivate. Both open the same plan chooser, and both pick your existing subscription back up rather than creating a second one.

โš ๏ธ
Easy to get wrong
The cancel panel mentions data being retained for 30 days. Read that as reassurance, not a deadline: cancelling does not delete anything and does not start a clock. The only things that remove clan data are the delete flows you run yourself.

Common questions

I chose a bigger plan but nothing changed.

A bigger plan takes effect when its invoice is paid, not when you pick it. Until then the status pill reads โ— Payment pending and you keep the clan slots, scan interval and chest allowance you actually paid for โ€” which is deliberate, so an unpaid checkout cannot hand out service. Open ๐Ÿ“„ View Invoices, pay the one waiting there, and the new plan and its extra slots appear as soon as the payment confirms.

Can I move a clan I already have into a free slot?

Not from the page. The only self-service route creates a new clan through a live game sign-in, and a clan that is already registered on another portal account is refused, because a clan can only be managed from one account at a time. Attaching an existing clan is something we do at our end โ€” contact support, say which clan and which account it should sit on, and we will move it.

My subscription looks fine but My Clans is empty.

Your clan has not vanished. What is missing is the link between the subscription and the clan, and the two most common reasons are that the clan is owned by a different portal account than the one you are signed in on, or that a link was released when an earlier subscription closed. Work out which portal account owns the clan before doing anything else โ€” the page will not tell you. Adding it again is not the answer: that flow refuses a clan that is already registered, so it will simply stop you. If the clan is owned by the account you are signed in on, this usually mends itself โ€” the next payment that goes through on your subscription relinks any clan of yours that no other live subscription is holding, provided a slot is free. Contact support if you would rather not wait, if every slot is already taken, or if the clan is still attached to another subscription.

The Add-ons panel lists an Extra Clan Slot. How do I buy it?

You cannot, and nothing is being withheld from you. The three entries in โšก Add-ons always read Not active โ€” they are placeholders for things that are not on sale. More clan slots come from a larger plan and nowhere else, so โฌ† Change Plan is the whole story.
